Pair of 1940s Gilded Spheres and Wrought Iron Spherical Art Moderne Table Lamps
Pair of 1940s Gilded Spheres and Wrought Iron Spherical Art Moderne Table Lamps
This dramatic and architectural pair of table lamps were realized in France, circa 1940. They feature Edgar Brandt style wrought iron curvilinear embellishments ascending from a square skyscraper style base of the same material. Spherical gilded forms of descending size rise from the base separated by four leaf like details, also in wrought iron. With their glamorous, yet sophisticated aesthetic, this pair of lamps would be a winning addition to any style of interior from Classic Art Deco to contemporary. They have been newly rewired to American standards and are in excellent vintage condition. The lamps come fitted with custom shades.
