A large painting fitted with a custom recessed gallery frame in black ebonized walnut , the surface of the piece features a beautiful gradient of white to gray towards black descending across the surface and serving as the background from which a pyramidal structure rests, with diagonal white lines extending towards the corners of the painting, with black lines traveling upwards to frame a geometry around the bolder more primary forms. Horizontally crossing in front of the pyramid are bars of lead intaglio imbedded onto the surface of the painting, adding a remarkable material contrast and dimensionality to the piece.
