Mid-Century Modernist Tri-Fold Smoked Glass Fire Screen with Brass Hinges by Danny Alessandro
Mid-Century Modernist Tri-Fold Smoked Glass Fire Screen with Brass Hinges by Danny Alessandro
This refined Mid Century Modern tri fold fire screen was realized in the United States circa 1980. It features three rectangular panels in lightly smoked translucent glass with beveled corners that are connected via two pairs of polished brass hinges. The glass panels also sit on brass feet which provides a striking material and tonal counterpoint to the hue of the smoked glass. With its superlative craftsmanship, clean modernist lines, and refined color palate, this fire screen is as versatile as it is beautiful, blending perfectly with any style of interior from classic Mid Century Modern to contemporary. It is in excellent vintage condition.
