This elegant Mid-Century Modern five piece fire tool set was realized in the France, circa 1960. The set includes a brush, poker, tongs, and shovel- all executed in brass, with each handle fitted with a circular embellishment, which is both a functional and aesthetic design flourish. The holder represents one of those remarkable aspects of this set. It is executed in translucent glass with an ovoid cut out at the top (allowing for easy transport) and four prominent cylindrical brass pegs that spear through the holder at top and bottom.
