This beautiful Mid Century Modern hand blown glass vase was realized by the esteemed maker Baranek in the Czechoslovakia circa 1960. It features a cylindrical body in translucent glass in a sumptuous smoked amber hue with prominent Murines suggestive of oversized air bubbles that occupy the solid base of the vessel. This piece is a study in the simplicity of great design, demonstrating incredibly restraint, a sophisticated color palate and distillation in form. It would be a winning addition to any style of interior from classic Mid Century Modern to contemporary. It is in excellent vintage condition and retains its original "Baranek" label.
