French Art Deco Handblown Crystal & Brass Scroll Form Design Epergne
French Art Deco Handblown Crystal & Brass Scroll Form Design Epergne
This stunning French Art Deco epergne (typically displayed on a dining table or buffet) was realized in France circa 1930. It consists of a brass frame with neoclassical detailing and scroll forms that supports a larger central fluted form in translucent handblown crystal as well three accompanying flutes in the same material. Three brass arms extend outwards from the central form culminating in crystal bowls, perfect for presenting votives, flowers, candy or any number of other items. The flutes are intended for singular stemmed flowers, as well as arrangements. This piece can also stand on its own as would a vase or centerpiece. This piece is in excellent condition.
