This minimally elegant Pair of Art Deco Fluted Tulip Form Alabaster Sconces originates from France, Circa 1940. Features a lovely tulip shaped composition carved in a beautiful solid alabaster, with gorgeous veining and a warm glow revealing the natural texture of the material. The fluted detailing creates subtle curvatures providing a scalloped edge to the top of the piece, with an understated silhouette and lovely proportions. An excellent example of the materiality and craft of the Art Deco era, these sconces will style well in a wide array of spaces and settings, from Art Deco to Mid-Century Modernist and Contemporary Interiors.
