This stunning pair of Mid-Century Modern omnidirectional swing arm sconces were realized in Italy circa 1970. They feature an austere and graphic silhouette featuring a strip of polished chrome that attaches to the wall from which a demilune curved cylindrical chrome body extends adjoining a straight arm (in the same form and material) at a right angle. The arm culminates in a orbital cupped form shade with one exposed side allowing the light within to radiate outwards. The straight support that attaches to the shade can be maneuvered in all directions via a black acrylic cylindrical handle. With its sophisticated and graphic form and monochromatic palate, these sconces are as versatile as they are aesthetically compelling, blending perfectly with any style of interior from classic Mid Century Modern to contemporary. They have been newly rewired to American standards and are in excellent vintage condition.
