This bold and unique Art Deco Two-Tier Occasional Table W/Chrome Rail Detailing & Shelved Supports in Book-matched Walnut and Black Lacquer originates from France, Circa 1930. Features three supports finished in gleaming black lacquer with rectangular opening that form two shelves for a total of six openings across the equidistantly spaced supports. Beneath the top surface is an additional round surface of book-matched walnut with edge detailing in black lacquer. The top of the table is finished beautifully with stunning book-matched detailing with the material strength on full display. A dynamic and unique element of the piece is a chrome rail which surrounds the table and goes through the supports with flat and curved attachments leading from the rail to the undersurface of the table's top. This bold and uniquely scaled piece will style beautifully in a wide array of spaces and settings, from Art Deco to Mid-Century Modernist and Contemporary Interiors. In Mint Restored Condition.
