This beautiful Art Deco Machine Age cocktail table was realized in France circa 1935. It feature a skyscraper style base with an octagonal bookmatched walnut bottom wrapped in back lacquer with a smaller concentric form in the same shape and materials crowning it. Four streamlined supports in lustrous black lacquer ascend from the corners of the base attaching to the top which is composed of bookmatched walnut with channeled detailing at the corners and black lacquer circumscribing the collar. With its quintessential Art Deco materials and motifs (skyscraper and streamlined forms), this piece is sure to delight discerning collectors of the period as well as those with a penchant for all things exquisite. It would be a winning addition to any style of interior from classic Deco to contemporary. Restored to mint condition.
