Ebony Framed Wall Mirror with Acid Etched Engraved Flowers by Brusottie
This stunning and refined Art Deco wall mirror was realized by the legendary designer Luigi Brusotti in Italy circa 1935. It features a skyscraper style form with a rhombus body that tapers to its base with acute angles at each corner, and a convex rounded top- all wrapped in beautiful ebony. There is plain mirror in the center with borders tracing each side that feature acid etched flowers engraved into the mirror by the master Brusotti himself. With its iconically Art Deco form and superlative craftsmanship (before the advent of mass production in design), this piece is sure to delight discerning collectors of first rate Art Deco as well as those with a penchant for all things exquisite. Its clean modernist lines and refined palate make this piece as versatile as it is aesthetically compelling blending with any style of interior from classic Deco to contemporary. It is in excellent vintage condition.
