Art Deco Machine Age Floating Edge Round Banded Mirror W/ Reverse Bevel Details
This stunning Art Deco floating edge round mirror was realized in the United States circa 1930. It offers a circular form with two banded layers of mirror circumscribing the perimeter of the central plain round mirror. The innermost band offers reverse beveled orbital forms recurring at evenly spaced intervals in its center. The central mirror is secured by conical rivets in antiqued brass- offering a beautiful material and tonal counterpoint- to the plain mirror present throughout the piece. This mirror is a study in the timeless elegance of Art Deco design at its finest. Its clean modernist lines and economy of form make this piece well suited for any style of interior from classic Deco to contemporary. It is in very good vintage condition.
