Mid-Century Modern Five Pendant Fixture by J.T. Kalmar
Mid-Century Modern Five Pendant Fixture by J.T. Kalmar
This quintessentially Mid-Century Modern fixture was realized by the esteemed producer J.T. Kalmar- one of the most illustrious names in European 20th century lighting, circa 1960. It features five translucent cut crystal shades etched with raised geometric designs throughout which affix to cylindrical nickel supports. The pendants are suspended, via onyx nylon, from a black enamel base. The height of each pendant can be adjusted to suit. The base features a circular form in nickel with a finial of the same material offering undulating curves, which creates a dynamic symmetry with the geometric forms etched into the glass. The fixture accommodates five candelabra based bulbs. It has been newly rewired to American standards and is in excellent condition.
