This sophisticated Mid-Century Modern pendant features a single glass shade replete with an abundance of raised geometric patterns etched into its surface, refracting light like a perfectly cut diamond. Produced in Austria by the esteemed producer J.T. Kalmar, circa 1960, it is a beautiful example of the period. The glass shade connects to a cylindrical gunmetal nickel support which attaches- via an onyx nylon cord- to a cylindrical base of the same material. With its clean lines and luxe materials, this piece is as versatile as it is aesthetically appealing- matching perfectly with virtually any style of decor from Classic Mid-Century Modern to Contemporary. It has been newly rewired to American standards and is in excellent condition. The height can be adjusted to suit.
