This tall and strikingly minimal Mid-Century Modernist Megaron Floor Lamp in Black Enamel by Gianfranco Frattini for Artemide originates from Italy, Circa 1979. Formed in curved metal panels joined together to create a bullet form profile when viewed from above, joined together with brackets to create an empty vertical zip between the two primary components of the lamp. These elements are supported by flanges connected to the round base. Fitted with an original sliding dimmer switch emerging from one side for adjusting the brightness. A noteworthy design by Frattini, this piece will style beautifully in a wide array of spaces and settings, from Mid-Century Modernist to Contemporary and Minimal Interiors. Newly rewired to American Standards, and in Excellent Vintage Condition.
