This sophisticated and stunning chandelier was realized in Murano, Italy- the islands off the coast of Venice renowned for centuries for their superlative glass production. It features an abundance of polished brass rods emanating from a central orb that culminate in handblown Murano discs in translucent topaz glass with opaque centers. The chandelier attaches to the ceiling via a domed canopy also in polished brass. With its warm gold and earth tones throughout and clean modernist lines, this piece would be a winning addition to any style of interior from classic Mid-Century Modern to contemporary. It accommodates six European based bulbs providing up to 450 watts of light. It has been newly rewired to American standards and is in excellent condition. The height can be adjusted to suit.
