This graphic and sophisticated Sputnik was hand blown in Murano, Italy- the island off the coast of Venice renowned for centuries for its superlative glass production. It features an abundance of glass rods with bulbous ends of translucent glass in a rich smoked honey hue emanating from a brass body. The chandelier affixes to the ceiling via a polished brass chain and canopy. With its bold modernist form and elegant palate, this piece is as versatile as it is aesthetically compelling, blending perfectly with any style of interior from Classic Mid-Century Modern to contemporary. It has been newly rewired to American standards and is in excellent condition. The height can be adjusted to suit. The chandelier accommodates eight candelabra based bulbs providing up to 480 watts of light.
