This exceptional Modernist chandelier was realized in Murano, Italy- the island off the coast of Venice renowned for centuries for its superlative glass production. It consists of numerous individual Murano glass "C" form discs that interlock with one another and hang from the frame to create it's shape. The glass has an iridescent pearl-like quality with ripples which changes the opacity of the glass. When the light shines through the glass it throws warm amber tones. It is newly rewired and takes 8 candelabra bulbs (Max 480 Watts). The hanging height can be adjusted to suit your requirements (currently hangs at 56"H).
