Art Deco Cocktail Table with Fluted Black Lacquer Supports and Glass Top
Art Deco Cocktail Table with Fluted Black Lacquer Supports and Glass Top
This refined Art Deco style cocktail table was realized- in the manner of Ruhlmann- in the United States during the 20th century. The piece features a graphic and stylized base consisting of four scroll form fluted tendrils that extend out (suggesting Octopus arms)- undergirded by undulating streamlined aluminum supports- that collectively hold the table's glass top. The table arms of the base are secured to a circular channeled and scalloped bottom. With its monochromatic palate, beautiful attention to detail, and clean modernist lines, this piece would be a winning addition to any style of interior from Classic Deco to contemporary. It has been newly restored to mint condition. The Size of the glass top can be fabricated to suit.
