This sophisticated set of six mid century modern dining chairs were realized by the esteemed American designer Eugene Schoen circa 1940. They feature a rectangular legs; a gently convex seat in slate velvet and a rectilinear cross hatch pattern back. The frame is executed entirely in a beautiful silver cerused oak finish. These striking chairs were custom designed by Eugene Schoen, and later acquired from one of several homes in Forestberg, New york of which he was not only the Architect but the designer of all the furnishings as well. The chairs are in mint restored condition.
