Set of 6 Mid Century Walnut & Holly Hunt Fabric Dining Chairs by John Widdicomb
Set of 6 Mid Century Walnut & Holly Hunt Fabric Dining Chairs by John Widdicomb
This refined set of six dining chairs were realized by the illustrious John Widdicomb Co. and handmade in Grand Rapids Michigan circa 1950. They feature rectilinear legs in beautiful hand rubbed walnut with an elegantly proportioned apron, slightly slimmer than that of the legs. There are six chairs in total- two with arms, and four without- all with button detailing on the backs and seats, and reupholstered in a beautiful grisaille Holly Hunt fabric with a subtle texture throughout. With their clean lines and perennially modern aesthetic, these chairs would be a winning addition to any style of interior from classic Mid Century Modern to contemporary. They have been newly reupholstered in Holly Hunt Great Plains fabric and restored to Mint Condition. They retain their original brass plaques reading "John Widdicomb Co. Grand Rapids Makers of Fine Furniture".
