Mid-Century Modern Cracqueleur Ceramic & Yellow Gilt Bowl by Royal Copenhagen
This elegant Mid-Century Modern decorative bowl/ dish was realized by the illustrious maker Royal Copenhagen in Denmark circa 1960. It features a concanve form with a cracqueleur pattern imprinted on the skein of its ceramic body. The top of the piece is circumscribed in 24kt yellow gold. Additionally, there is a stylized foliate form (resembling a motif from Ancient Greek design) in burnt sienna on the base of the bowl. With its clean modernist lines and beautiful attention to detail, this piece would be a winning addition to any style of interior from traditional to contemporary. It is in excellent vintage condition and signed with the maker's proprietary stamp "Royal Copenhagen".
