Art Deco Six Sided Handwrought Iron Pendant in the Manner of Edgar Brandt
Art Deco Six Sided Handwrought Iron Pendant in the Manner of Edgar Brandt
This stunning Art Deco handwrought Iron Pendant was realized in France, circa 1930. Created in the Manner of Edgar Brandt, it features a handwrought black iron body with rectangular supports that connect to a circular canopy offering a subtly dappled center and a striated border. Stylized vine detailing, also in handwrought iron, occupies the interstices between the supports that hold a six sided frosted glass globe shade. With its fastidious attention to detail and beautiful form- combining modernist lines with elements of Art Nouveau- this pendant is as versatile as it is aesthetically compelling, blending perfectly with any style of interior from traditional to contemporary. It has been newly rewired to American standards and is in excellent condition. The height can be adjusted to suit.
