Art Deco Cubist Four-Globe Frosted Relief Glass Chandelier in Silvered Bronze
This elegant high style Art Deco chandelier was realized in France, circa 1930. It features one central globe in opaque frosted glass etched with foliate detailing. The body of the chandelier, executed in lustrous silvered bronze, offers a rich variety of cubist motifs including floral and foliate detailing, as well as geometric forms. Conical shades in frosted glass with cubist designs in relief suspend from each of the three silvered bronze arms. The chandelier attaches to the canopy via three cylindrical supports with skyscraper style detailing at their apexes. With its beautiful attention to detail, impeccable construction and dramatic presence, this chandelier would be a winning addition to any style of interior from classic Deco to contemporary. They have been newly rewired to American standards and are in excellent condition. The height can be adjusted to suit. The chandelier accommodates four candelabra based bulbs, offering up to 240 watts of light. Excellent condition.
