This dramatic and elegant pair of table lamps were handblown in Murano, Italy- the island off the coast of Venice renowned for centuries for its superlative glass production. They feature sculptural undulating cylindrical bodies in handblown translucent reeded glass offering a sophisticated peridot hue and imbued with an abundance of 24kt gold flecks. The lamps display dramatically peaked concave bases that ascend to an orbital detail. Their bodies are then capped by two cylindrical capsule forms, and finished with brass fittings that perfectly complement the hue of the glass. With their clean lines, refined color palate, and classically elegant form, these table lamps are as versatile as they are beautiful, blending perfectly with any style of interior from traditional to contemporary. They have been newly rewired to American standards and are in excellent condition.
