This well scaled and materially striking Mid-Century Modernist Ceramic Lava Glaze Table Lamp in Green & Umber W/Antiqued Brass & Walnut Fittings originates from the United States, Circa 1960. This piece features a body achieved in a lovely lava glazed ceramic finish with an antiqued brass base. The glaze alternates between burnt umber to moss green, slightly tapering near the bottom with a swooping curvature at the top meeting with walnut hardware supporting the shade. Highly characteristic of the reserved geometry and materials of Mid-Century Modernist design, this lamp will style well in a wide array of spaces and settings, from Mid-Century Modernist to Contemporary and Minimal Interiors. Newly rewired to American Standards, this lamp accommodates one Edison base bulb achieving up to 100 watts of light. In Excellent Vintage Condition. It is also fitted with a custom shade.
