This Art Deco Streamlined Chrome uplight W/Glass Ball and Bronze Base originates from the United States, Circa 1935. The chrome shade features a classic silhouette, gradually expanding upwards to the top where the lip curves outwards. The bottom of the shade is supported by a glass ball, adding material contrast and reflective detail to the piece, beneath which is a cylindrical element of antiqued bronze, capped at the bottom with an additional cylinder in chrome. With elegant proportions and vertical presence, this lamp is highly characteristic of the design motifs and materials of the Art Deco era, and will style beautifully in a wide array of spaces and settings, from Art Deco to Mid-Century Modernist and Contemporary Interiors. Newly rewired to American Standards, this piece is in Excellent Vintage Condition. Accommodates one Edison based bulb offering up to 100 watts of light.
