This elegant and well scaled Art Deco Cut glass Uplight W/Fluted and Geometric Detailing on Hexagonal Base originates from the United States, Circa 1925. Featuring a lovely shade in cut crystal with cubist detailing, vertically oriented and diffusing the light of the bulb with opulent detail and gorgeous geometric forms. The base is hexagonal with striated detailing leading from the center out to each edge, gently curved and contrasting beautifully with the more linear geometric elements of the piece. This lamp is a lovely example of the careful attention to detail and geometric sensibilities of early Art Deco design, and will style beautifully in a wide array of spaces and settings, from Art Deco to Mid-Century Modernist and Contemporary Interiors. Newly rewired to American Standards, and in Excellent Vintage Condition.
