This beautiful and timeless pair of modernist 14-disc sconces were hand blown in Murano, Italy- the island off the coast of Venice, renowned for centuries for its superlative glass production. Realized in the manner of Vistosi, the sconces feature three rows of hand blown Murano glass discs with translucent centers and surrounds attached to a chrome frame- which is a beautiful tonal compliment to the clear glass throughout. With their monochromatic palate and clean modernist lines, these sconces would be a winning addition to any style of interior from Classic Mid-Century Modern to contemporary. They have been newly rewired to American standards and are in excellent condition. They accommodate three Edison bulbs each providing up to 300 watts of light.
