This pair of sconces originates from the United States circa 1980. Featuring two tears of Tronchi form, opaline, glass shades which hang from a polished brass frame. The opacity of the opaline hue, beautifully diffuses light creating elegant illumination, and the gradation of value across the fixtures. With their expensive profile and dynamic movement, achieved by the stepped composition of the shades despair of sconces. Beautifully and a wide array of interiors in settings from art deco to mid century, modernist and contemporary spaces, newly rewired to American standards, and in excellent vintage condition.
