These unique and materially dynamic Mid-Century Modernist Sconces in Frosted Glass, Burnt Umber Enamel & Walnut W/ Brass Fittings originate from Italy, Circa 1960. Featuring a rounded brass backplate affixing these sconces to the wall, leading to a conical element in burnt umber enamel. The bottom section of the sconces is achieved in a sculptural walnut with a rounded point, with shades formed in a slightly curved fluted and frosted glass. Gorgeously diffusing the light of the bulbs and with lovely variety of materials, these sconces have a simultaneously classical and modern appearance, styling well in a wide array of spaces and settings, from Mid-Century Modernist to Contemporary and Minimal Interiors. Newly rewired to American Standards, and in Excellent Vintage Condition.
