This elegantly reserved Pair of Mid-Century Modernist Sculptural Nightstands in Ebonized Walnut W/Brass Pulls and Sabots are by the esteemed designer Ico Parisi and originate from Italy Circa 1950. Features a two tier top surface containing a narrow shelf in transparent glass inset into the swooping side panels of the nightstands, beneath which rests a reverse painted glass panel, highly durable for daily use and lending a beautiful contrast in value against the sumptuous ebonized finish. The supports are sculpturally tapered and capped with polished brass sabots with fluted detailing, matching the finish and form of the drawer pulls. These nightstands are beautiful examples of the design sensibility and material strength of Mid-Century Modernism, and will style well in a wide array of spaces and settings, from Mid-Century Modernist to Contemporary and Minimal Interiors.
