This beautiful Mid-Century Modernist tessellated limestone mirror, realized in the style of Karl Springer, demonstrates how simple design can highlight the innate quality of the materials. The tessellated limestone cut into myriad rectangular forms teems with organic texture. The oval keystone in tessellated mother-of-pearl glimmers with tones of pale amethyst and aquamarine. A three-tiered and stepped demilune crown circumscribes the mother-of-pearl oval, adding an Art Deco flourish to this modern design. Excellent condition.
