Mid-Century Modernist Hand-Blown Murano Glass Stepped Triedre Chandelier
This uniquely bold and elegant Mid-Century Modernist Hand-Blown Murano Stepped Cluster Triedre Chandelier with chrome Fittings originates from Italy, Circa 1970. Features a highly geometric and expansive form composed of stepped clusters of hand-blown murano glass triedre elements in a series of two tiers. The lower tier has five stepped clusters that expand outwards, with three on the upper tier for a total of eight in the fixture. The clusters are fitted with curved chromed fittings that hug the curvature of the glass elements keeping them in place and adding material contrast and detailing. This fixture captures and diffuses light beautifully, highly elegant and dynamic with incredible degree of complexity and material variation. This piece has a matching drop at the bottom of the fixture also in triedre glass with a more substantial form. This chandelier wil style well in a wide array of spaces and settings, from Mid-Century Modernist to Contemporary and Minimal Interiors. Newly rewired to American Standards and with height that can be adjusted to suit. Takes a total of eight Edison base bulbs achieving up to 800 watts of light.
