Mid-Century Modern 14-Arm Chrome Chandelier by Lightolier
Mid-Century Modern 14-Arm Chrome Chandelier by Lightolier
This stunning and graphic chandelier was realized by the esteemed American producer, Lightolier, circa 1970. It features 14 gently bowed chrome arms emanating from a circular body, also in lustrous chrome, suggesting an exploding firework. The circular body is secured by a chrome cylindrical finial. The chandelier attaches to the ceiling via a chrome rod and circular canopy in the same material. With its dramatic form- full of Elan- this piece embodies the qualities that discerning collectors of first rate American midcentury design adore. It would be a winning addition to any style of interior from classic Mid-Century Modern to contemporary. It has been newly rewired to American standards. The height can be adjusted to suit. This fixture accommodates fourteen candelabra based bulbs providing up to 840 watts of light. Excellent condition.
