Mid-Century Hexagonal White Gold & Glass Shaded Chandelier by Kaiser Luchten
This unique and charming Mid-Century Modernist Hexagonal Pendant Chandelier with Fractal Glass shades is made by Kaiser Luchten and originates from Germany, Circa 1970. Featuring a solid hexagonal frame suspended by a rod and canopy mirroring the frame's geometry, all in a stunning antiqued White Gold. The translucent glass shades are brilliant and add an alluring expansive quality to the piece, highly geometric fractals with many facets extend from each of the six sides of the frame, picking up the quality of the antiqued white gold and diffusing light elegantly. The complexity of the geometric shades renders them nearly round, softening the piece while maintaining ample detail and visual complexity. Kaiser Leuchten, founded in 1895 by Hermann Kaiser began formulating lamp parts for other companies, but with the advent of electric lighting began designing and making pieces of their own, of which this Pendant is a gleaming example.
