Pair of Hollywood Asymmetrical Tufted Hollywood Chairs in Smoked Topaz Velvet
Pair of Hollywood Asymmetrical Tufted Hollywood Chairs in Smoked Topaz Velvet
This elegant pair of 1940s Hollywood asymmetrical lounge chairs were realized in the United States, circa 1940. They feature conical front feet and splayed back feet in ebonized walnut, and a curved and channel tufted barreling back that slants at a bias. The chairs mirror each other in palindromic symmetry. With their clean modernist lines and neutral palate, this pair of lounge/club chairs would be a winning addition to any style of interior from Classic Art Deco to contemporary. They have been newly in a smoked brown topaz upholstery, and restored to mint condition.
American, circa 1940
