Pair of Art Deco Streamlined Walnut Club Chairs in Cubist Clarence House Fabric
Pair of Art Deco Streamlined Walnut Club Chairs in Cubist Clarence House Fabric
This stunning pair of Art Deco club/ arm chairs were realized in France, circa 1930. They feature streamlined arms; volumetric rectangular front legs; and slightly arched hind legs all in lustrous walnut. The chairs have been newly reupholstered in new reissued (and quintessentially Art Deco) Clarence House fabric in hues of olive, smoked tangerine, tea rose and carnelian. The fabric also offers iconically Deco motifs (streamlined and demilune forms etc.), that perfectly complement the Silhouette of these chairs. With their clean lines and perenially modern form, they would be a winning addition to any style of interior from Classic Deco to contemporary. They have been restored to mint condition.
