Art Deco Retro. Yellow Gold & Emerald Cut Citrine Earrings Signed Cartier
Art Deco Retro. Yellow Gold & Emerald Cut Citrine Earrings Signed Cartier
These Art Deco Retro 14ct. Yellow Gold & Citrine Earrings Signed Cartier originate from France, Circa 1935. They feature stepped Emerald Cut Citrines nested in four pronged attachments accented with a sophisticated combination of geometric and organic detailing in 14ct. Yellow Gold. The framework above the stones is a downward sloping trapezoid that reverses angle just before meeting the edge of the Citrines. Then one views a downward scrolling element from which four simplified geometric leaves emerge, two from either side of each earring. The scroll form element then continues into a curved band of yellow gold that swoops underneath the Citrines, serving to frame the earrings with stunningly achieved detail, material precision, and balance. The Citrines have a lovely hue and excellent clarity, measuring 8mm in width by 10mm in length, Approximately 4 Carats per stone. These Earrings weigh approximately 4 grams each for a total of 8 Grams. These will style beautifully with a wide array of wear and are sure to capture the eye of collectors who love Cartier and exquisite jewelry of the Art Deco Retro era. In Excellent Vintage Condition.
