This elegant modernist leaf form flush mount chandelier was realized in Murano, Italy- the island off the coast of Venice renowned for centuries for its superlative glass production- during the 21st century. It features a profusion of stylized overlapping leaves in hand blown translucent Murano glass with an abundance of 24kt yellow gold flecks with every element- including midrib and veins- finely articulated. The flush mount is capped at the base with a domed striated finial also in 24kt gold infused translucent glass with a conical brass finial that perfectly complements the tonalities inherent to the glass. With its clean modernist lines and impeccable quality, this piece would be a winning addition to any style of interior from Classic Mid-Century Modern to contemporary. It has been newly rewired to American standards and is in excellent vintage condition.
