This tasteful Mid-Century Modernist flush mount was handblown on the fabled Venetian island of Murano, Italy, circa 1960. Fabricated in clear glass infused with a multitude of fine bubbles reminiscent of the effervescence of champagne, the surface offers an uncultivated organic texture that reaffirms its artisanal handmade construction. It is supported by conical nickel supports with balled ends. The fixture has been rewired to American standards and is in excellent condition.
