This refined translucent glass flush mount was produced by the esteemed studio, J.T. Kalmar, in Austria, circa 1960. It offers a circular form created from handblown clear glass offering a subtle texture reminiscent of the sea's surface on a breezy day. The glass is imbued with a wealth of miniature bubbles giving it the appearance of effervescent water. The figure is secured with three cylindrical chrome rivets. With its beautiful glass quality and clean lines, this fixture would be a winning addition to any style of interior from classic Mid-Century Modern to contemporary. It has been newly rewired to American standards and is in excellent condition.
