This sleek and streamlined Pair of Mid-Century Modernist Adjustable Brass Floor Lamps W/ Cylindrical Shades in the Manner of Cedric Hartman originates from the United States, Circa 1950. Resting on cylindrical bases, these lamps rise from their supports with brass cylindrical bodies that house an additional element that extends in order to adjust the height of the lamps. The slender body curves to extend horizontally and hold the cylindrical shades, with canoe form cutouts revealing the bulbs, with well formed and tactile switches. This pair is entirely formed in a gleaming polished brass, with elegant proportions and thoughtful design throughout.
