This rare and sought after limited edition Mid-Century Modernist Baccarat art glass paperweight was produced by the illustrious French glass maker, circa 1971. Handblown in hues of emerald, robin's egg blue, aquamarine, and canary yellow, this is both a whimsical and beautiful objet d'art reflecting the very highest standards of craftsmanship. While it is a completely functional paperweight, it would be equally well suited as an objet d'art atop an occasional table or étagère. It is acid etched "Baccarat France" on the bottom, with the maker's exclusive seal. It comes with a custom-made Lucite base, crafted specifically for this paperweight. Additionally, it is inscribed 112 (the edition number) and "1971" (the year of production) on bottom. Mint condition.
