This elegantly formed and organic Mid-Century Modernist Hand-Blown Murano Glass Dish with Indented Detailing in Amber originates from Italy, Circa 1960. Features a beautiful expansion and contraction achieved by the ripples in the edge from three equidistant indentations in the glass, formed while the glass is still imbued with the energy from the kiln and with sumptuous rippling detail throughout the piece. In a subtle amber hue, the warm earth tone delivers a natural and calming feel which pairs beautifully with the organic ripples and overall form. This well proportioned piece is an excellent example of the forms and practices of Mid-Century Modernist glass art, and will style beautifully in a wide array of spaces and settings, from Mid-Century Modernist to Contemporary and Minimal Interiors. In Excellent Vintage Condition.
