This refined and understated ottoman were designed by Paul McCobb- one of the most celebrated and influential figures in 20th century design- in America, circa 1950. The ottoman offers conical legs in ebonized walnut. McCobb once opined: “Design appeal is based on integrity of form, simplicity of line, and true organic function.” This ottoman is a stunning testament to that quote- understated, elegant and versatile, blending perfectly with any style of interior from Classic Mid-Century Modern to contemporary. It has been newly reupholstered in a luxe sky blue and pearl silk blend fabric by Creations Metaphor, and is in mint restored condition.
