This beautiful Mid-Century Modernist fish Plate Set is hand-painted and signed by the artist Marcel Guillot, originating from France Circa 1950. Composed of twelve uniquely designed hand painted plates with a large oval serving tray, each piece depicts a different creature from the deep in stunning detail and observational rigour. Hand-painted in ceramic with a lovely olive green hue on the edge of each plate and the serving tray, the artist achieves a beautiful and alluring visual balance.
