This refined Art Deco Machine Age Skyscraper Style chandelier was realized in France, circa 1935. It offers a skyscraper style canopy consisting of tiered concentric circular forms that attached via cylindrical rods to a central body where this skyscraper style detail is reiterated as a finial. Four arms extend from this central body, each with two cylindrical shades in handblown mottled white glass and cubist skyscraper style detailing on each arm. With its beautiful craftsmanship and iconic Art Deco detailing, this piece is sure to delight discerning collectors of the period as well as those with a penchant for exquisite objects. The chandelier offers nine sockets in total, each equipped with a candelabra based bulb- offering 450 watts in total. It has been newly rewired to American standards and is in excellent vintage condition. The height can be adjusted to suit.
