Art Deco Frosted Rose Glass Pendant Chandelier Signed Degué
This subtle and elegantly formed Art Deco Frosted Rose Glass Pendant Chandelier Signed Degué originates from France, Circa 1930. Features a lovely round shade in a hue of lightly smoked rose with molded flowers and plants rendered in a minimal cubist geometric form, flowers blooming from the bottom of the fixture with linear leaves expanding outwards with curling line-work for the stems, which also visually separate each leave. Hangs from a beautifully detailed brass canopy and chain with three spherical brass attachments equidistantly spaced around the edge of the shade. Signed Degué, this fixture is a brilliant example of the material strength and design characteristics of the Art Deco movement. Styles beautifully in a wide array of spaces and settings, from Art Deco to Mid-Century Modernist and Contemporary Interiors.
