Art Deco Cubist Skyscraper Glass & Nickeled Bronze Chandelier signed Petitot
This breathtaking Art Deco Cubist Skyscraper Style Chandelier in Frosted Glass & Nickeled Bronze signed Petitot originates from France, Circa 1930. Features four molded and frosted glass shades with a striking skyscraper style stepped composition with linear detailing throughout. The bottom is suspended by a series of four vertical open form skyscraper style elements, leading up to a stylized geometric canopy. This chandelier is an excellent example of the materials and design motifs of the Art Deco era, and will style beautifully in a wide array of spaces and settings, from Art Deco to Mid-Century Modernist and Contemporary Interiors. Signed "Petitot" on the inner edge of each shade. Newly rewired to American Standards, this piece accommodates four candelabra base bulbs achieving up 240 watts of light.
